Heavenly Father, I come to You through the Name of my Savior, Your Son Jesus, to thank You for the invitation to come joyfully to You for a time of close personal fellowship. You have provided this experience for me by calling me Your son or daughter and giving me the gift to come before You in thanksgiving and praise through prayer and reading Your Holy Word. Psalm 100:4Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His Name.

Forgive me when sometimes I have a prideful attitude or act like I created myself and my little world around me. This produces greediness, and ultimately a loss of hope if not everything goes my way. Psalm 100:3 Know that the LORD, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Direct me through all the chaos and turmoil in this fallen world, to go out into it with Your presence within me. Psalm 100:1 Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!” It is a blessing that every time I come into Your presence about any situation in life, You will always have a positive response. If I am discouraged, You will encourage. If I am in need You will provide, etc. Maybe not always in the way I desire, but always in the way that is best.

Thank you for how this Psalm reminds me that You are the creator and are always good and dependable. You alone are to be praised and worshiped. Psalm 100:5For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.

I love you, Lord. Amen.
