These very short, Scripture-based prayers can be used throughout the day to help take you to your next more extended prayer time and assist you in being able to keep in an attitude of prayer.

These prayers can also be useful in emergency situations because of the power that comes through praying God’s Word.

How to use these prayers: print them or save them on your phone and use them as reminders to talk to your Heavenly Father throughout the day

1 Thessalonians 5:17 “Pray without ceasing.”

_______________

When Fearful

Heavenly Father, I come to You in Jesus’ Name to ask that when I am fearful, You will direct me to the message in Psalm 56:3, for You alone can comfort in time of need. “Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.”

God Stays Close

Heavenly Father, I come to You in Your Son’s Name to thank You for the promise in Isaiah 41:13. “For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you ‘Fear not, I will help you.'”

An Intimate Relationship With God

Heavenly Father, I come to You in Jesus’ Name to thank You for the beautiful relationship recorded in 2 Corinthians 6:18. “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

A Spirit Controlled Life

Lord, I come in Jesus’ Name to thank You for the advice in Galatians 5:16. “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.”

The Effect Of God’s Word

Lord, I come to You in Jesus’ Name to thank You for the instruction in Psalm 119:130. “The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.”
