Lord Almighty, I come through the Name of Your Son Jesus to thank You for the privilege of being able to come to Your mighty throne of grace and be comforted. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort” 2 Corinthians 1:3.

Lord, You are the God of all comfort and You alone give us reassurance in difficult situations. In the time of need, remind me of Matthew 11:28-29, “come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give You rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

Lord, lead me to paths of righteousness in my time of need. Lead me to Scriptures, music and fellowship opportunities that exalt Your Name and encourage me to live for You. Teach me to draw comfort from You. And finally, enable me to share that same comfort You have given me with those You have put in my own realm of influence, such as my friends, children, and grandchildren. “[God], who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2 Corinthians 1:4.

It is in the precious Name of Jesus I come, Amen.
