Lord, I come to You through the saving grace of Jesus to thank You for the confidence I can have in You. You alone can provide relief from the doubt that I encounter in life. It is a great blessing that I can trust in You and never outrun Your grace.

Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Forgive me for the many times I start focusing on circumstances and doubting instead of trusting in You and Your word. Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

Direct me to trust in You no matter what situation I might face in life. May I confidently know that You are by my side and that You will always be there to pick me up. Thank you that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. Although I am weak, You are always willing to give strength in every situation. Isaiah 40:29 “He [God] gives power to the weak, and those who have no might He increases strength.” Through the encouragement from these verses, I ask that You dispel any self doubt that I may have by giving me confidence in You and the truth of Your Word (the Bible).

Show me how to incorporate and make the message in Psalm 119:105 more real in my life. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
