God’s Call to Holiness

Lord, I come to You in Jesus’ Name to ask You to direct me to be obedient to 1 Peter 1:15-16. “But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “be holy, for I am holy.’

God’s Perfect Wisdom

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name I thank You that as a believer in Jesus Christ I have access to Your perfect wisdom. James 3:17But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

Denying Ungodly Living

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, direct me to be obedient to Your instructions for Godly living found in Titus 2:12. “Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age.

Walking in the Spirit

Heavenly Father, I come in Jesus’ Name to ask You to continually develop Galatians 5:22-23 in my life. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

God’s Requirement for His People

Lord, in Jesus’ Name, direct me to be obedient to the instruction in Micah 6:8. “He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

Controlling Our Words

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name I ask You to do for me Psalm 141:3. “Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips.

Personal Relationship With God

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, thank you for my personal relationship with You and for being near to me in all situations as written in Nahum 1:7. “The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust Him.
