Thought Life Controlled by God

All-knowing Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name I ask You to guide and control my thought life. 2 Corinthians 10:5 “Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”

Confidence in God’s Sovereignty

Sovereign Lord, I ask in Jesus’ Name that You direct me to have the same confidence in Your sovereignty as Job did in Job 42:1-2. “Then Job answered the LORD and said: “I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.‘”

Reconciliation Through Jesus

Loving Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, thank you for Jesus’ reconciliation for me. 2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

Power of God’s Holy Spirit

All-powerful Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, direct me to fully understand where strength comes from as expressed in Zechariah 4:6b. ‘”Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.“‘

God Upholds the Believer

Sustaining Lord, I come to You in the Name of Jesus to thank You for the invite and promise in Psalm 55:22. “Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.”

Secure in the Lord

All-powerful Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name I praise and thank You for the peace, joy and comfort of Your promise in Hebrews 13:5b. ‘”I will never leave you nor forsake you.‘”

God, the Ultimate Protector

Protecting Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, thank you for providing the perfect protection. Psalm 18:30 “As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.“
