Compassionate Heavenly Father, as a believer in Jesus Christ, I come in His Name to thank You for the little word is in the first line of Psalm 23. “The LORD is my shepherd.” It does not say He will be, has been, wants to be, might be, can be. He is.

Giving Praise to the Lord

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, I express my praise to You like in Isaiah 25:1. “O LORD, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, for You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.“

Benefits of the Indwelling Holy Spirit

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, thank you for the gifts of the indwelling Holy Spirit in a believer. 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.“

God’s Perfect Peace

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, thank you for the peace You promise in the middle of turmoil. Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.“

Freedom in Jesus Christ

Merciful Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, thank you for the freedom from condemnation the Holy Spirit provides. Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.“

The Power of God’s Word

Guiding Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, direct me to practice 2 Timothy 2:15. “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (KJV).
