Lord, I come to You in Jesus’ Name to thank You for Your love, protection, and guidance throughout the last year. Many times You gave more than I deserved or could expect. But because of your faithfulness and graciousness to me, You made Psalm 46:1 a reality in my life. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

Even in very difficult and challenging times, I was able to rest in your promise revealed in Romans 8:28And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”

Enable me to boldly proclaim to the people who do not know You the plan You have laid out for them in John 3:16. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”

I ask not necessarily for an easy year or one with all comfort, but rather for a powerful year of transformation to further Your glory and goodness, not my own.

The journey ahead may be hard and uncomfortable at times, but I ask You to enable me to fully put my trust in You to sustain and guide me as it is laid out in Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct Your paths.

Thank you that I can bring these requests in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
