Gracious Heavenly Father, I come to You in Jesus’ Name with praise and thanksgiving for the promise in Your Word that You will meet my every need, but not necessarily all of my wants. I can rest assured that there is no area of my life where You cannot provide. Thank you that You alone will sustain me. “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ JesusPhilippians 4:19.

When I am burdened down with a heavy load of the cares of this world and am feeling tired, You say: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you restMathew 11:28. In times when I feel lonely or discouraged, You assure me in Hebrews 13:5b that You will always be there for me. ‘”I will never leave you nor forsake you.'”

When I am weak, Your Word tells me in Isaiah 40:29He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.” Show me how to be content with Your love and what You provide and not worry about what I do not have.

Teach me to be sensitive to and serve the needs of others around me so that I can receive the blessing and joy You provide to a cheerful giver. May the witness of my life be one that exemplifies the message expressed in 2 Corinthians 3:5. “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God.”

Thank you that I can bring this prayer in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
