Protection from Evil

Powerful Heavenly Father, I come in Jesus’ Name to thank You for Your protection from Satan. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 “But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.”

Knowing and Hearing God

Lord, I come in Your Son’s Name to ask You to better develop in me the ability to hear and know You. Psalm 143:8 “Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You.”

Going to the Throne of Grace

Lord, I come to You in Your Son’s Name to thank You for inviting me to meet with You. Hebrews 4:16 “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

Wisdom for Living

All wise Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name I ask You to direct me to be a Proverbs 1:5 person. “A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel.”

Thanks for God’s Attributes

Compassionate Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your wonderful attributes recorded in Psalm 145:8-9. “The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. The LORD is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works.”

Assurance That the Word in the Bible Came from God

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, thank you for the assurance in 2 Peter 1:20-21 that Your Word came from You (God). “Knowing this first , that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.“
