God’s Love is Always Near

Compassionate Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, thank you that when I am in difficult, heart aching situations, Your love is always there as expressed in Psalm 34:18. “The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.

God’s Mercy

Merciful Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, thank you for the promise about confession in Proverbs 28:13. “He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

Giving Thanks

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, direct me to practice Ephesians 5:20 as a lifestyle. “Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Living with Proper Humility

Lord, in Jesus Name, show me how to have the correct balance in living Romans 12:3. “For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

Going Forward with Christ

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, direct me as a believer in Jesus Christ to practice what Paul did in Philippians 3:13. “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.

Putting Off the Old

Lord, in Your Son’s Name, direct me to accomplish Colossians 3:8-9. “But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds.
