Heavenly Father, I come in Jesus’ Name to thank You for giving this Psalm as a guide to communicating with You when I don’t have the proper words. These verses direct me about how to share my thoughts with You. Verse 6: “Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications, verse 3: Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I cry to You all day long.

It is a great blessing that in Your Word, the Bible, there is no confusion of who You are. There may be many different gods worshiped in the world, but I praise You with verse 10. “For You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God.

Thank you for providing forgiveness without any hesitation as soon as I ask for it. You do not only forgive my sins, but through Christ I have an abundance of grace and mercy as well. Thank you for verse 5. “For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.” I worship, praise, and thank You for the ultimate gift expressed in verse 13. “For great is Your mercy toward me, and You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.

Just as David turned to You and trusted You alone, open my heart to Your never-ending love and teach me to draw closer to You amidst adversity. I am open to verse 11. “Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.” Thank you for the precious words in this Psalm. Amen.
