Compassionate Heavenly Father, I come to You through the Name of Jesus to thank You for the saving work Your Son did on the cross. Through His spilled blood and torn flesh, I have had the opportunity to be brought into a new life not needing to be controlled by sin. Romans 5:10 “For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”
I ask that You give me the perspective to see my eternal worth through Your eyes and the lens of redemption, not of shame. Allow me to not only realize this, but also to act on it and live accordingly. Romans 5:9 “Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.”
Teach me to evaluate the things that I do and say through an eternal perspective. Give me the wisdom and strength to remove that which is not edifying and increase that which is of eternal significance. Mold my priorities and interests to Your will and bring me closer to You each day. Show me how to best minister to those around me.
I am blessed that I can find my hope in You, a hope that does not disappoint. Romans 5:5 “Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
In Jesus’ Name, thank you for Your many attributes (all knowing, ever present, unchanging, merciful, almighty, etc.) that are enough to handle any situation in my life. Amen.
We used the Thanksgiving week daily prayers from here. Thank you. And thanks for all the prayers. They are good. Becky Detamore

Good to hear from you. How are you doing health wise? Are you going to Tx. this year. We will not be going. Our Dr. advised us not to. We are having some health problems due to age. We had 18 good years.
