Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, thank you for the promise in Psalm 32:7. “You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.“

Relying on God’s Strength

All powerful Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, when I am facing difficulties, direct me to trust in Your expression in 2 Chronicles 20:15b. “‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.‘”

Developing a Growing Relationship with God

All wise Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, direct me to daily practice Psalm 1:2. “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.“

God’s Wisdom and Power

Almighty Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, thank you for how You made everything. Jeremiah 10:12 “He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens at His discretion.“

Connecting with Other Believers

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, thank you that a close relationship with You allows for oneness with other believers. Colossians 2:2 “That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ.“

Escaping Temptation

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, thank you for directing ​me in dealing with temptations. 1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.“
